* Q. How long will it take until I receive my order? A. Gillian's Herbs is currently a one-woman operation. Its a tiny but mighty micro-business ! Gillian drives from the farm into town to ship your orders every Tuesday. For example,  an order received on a Wednesday is going to take an additional 6 days or so in addition to the shipping terms listed below. Thank you for your patience !

* Q. So you have a shipping deal ?  A. Yes ! We are offering free shipping within  the province of British Columbia for orders $100.00 and over; and free shipping within other Canadian provinces and territories for orders $150 and over. Please contact Gillian for more information. 

*Q. My order does not qualify for free shipping as  detailed above. Please explain what the different Canada Post services entail.

A. Here are the Canada Post shipping options that are available to our Canadian and USA customers. Please note that once you choose a service and finish checking out, you cannot change the service. Bear in mind, please, that  in order to figure out when your parcel will arrive, you have to take into account  both (1) the fact that Gillian drives from the farm to the Lilloet post office only on Tuesdays, and (2) the specified delivery times listed below. We appreciate your support and thank you for bearing with us !

Within Canada: we offer Canada Post: Expedited Parcel, Xpresspost, and Priority (listed by price, cheapest to most expensive.)

Expedited Parcel. Estimated delivery is 2 to 8 days. You can track your parcel and receive confirmation of delivery/delivery updates. 

Xpresspost. Estimated delivery is  2 to 4 days. You get an on-time delivery guarantee, tracking and delivery confirmation, delivery updates, and up to $100 in liability coverage. 

Priority.  Estimated delivery is 2 to 4 business days. You get an on-time delivery guarantee, tracking, delivery confirmation, delivery updates, and up to $100 in liability coverage.

Shipping to the USA: you can choose, via Canada Post, between Small Packet USA, Tracked Packet USA, Expedited Parcel USA, and Xpresspost USA (listed by price, cheapest to most expensive.)

Small Packet USA. Your lowest cost option, but this service is available only for small and lightweight parcels (less than 1 kg). Neither parcel tracking nor insurance are included. You can use a post office box for your address. Estimated delivery is 5 to 8 business days. Customs duties are collected from you at the time of delivery.

Tracked Packet USA. This service is only available for small and lightweight parcels (up to 1 kg).You can track your parcel and you get up to $100 liability insurance. You can use a post office box for your address. Estimated delivery is 8 to 17 business days. Customs duties are collected from you at the time of delivery.

Expedited Parcel USA. Your parcel can weigh up to 30 kg. You can track your parcel and you get up to $100 liability insurance. You can use a post office box for your address. Estimated delivery is 4 to 19 business days. Customs duties are collected from you at the time of delivery.   

Xpresspost USA. The best service to the USA that Canada Post offers. You can track your parcel and you get up to $100 liability insurance. You can use a post office box for your address. Estimated delivery is 3 to 12 days. Customs duties are collected from you at the time of delivery. 

*Q. What are the limitations of your deliveries to the USA and beyond? A. We regret that with respect to the USA, we can only ship to the "lower 48" in the USA. Which is to say that we cannot send packages to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, etc. We also cannot ship to any foreign countries beyond the USA.

* Q. How do I use your Search feature? A. The best way is to go to the top or bottom of any page on this site, click on search, then type in your major symptom (stress, insomnia, colds and flus, etc.); or a desired ingredient in any product (Astragalus, Echinacea, Kelp, etc.); or an item name. If you prefer, click Shop at the top of the page to search by Collection (Featured, Aromatherapy, Medicinal Tinctures, Nutritionals and Teas, Skin Care/Body Care). If you are viewing the site on a desktop computer, you may notice that a checklist of symptoms and ingredients appears on the left when you view a product. Clicking on a box runs a search for products that treat a particular symptom, or include a specific ingredient.  Make sure you click on only one or two boxes at a time to turn up useful results. 

*Q. How do I find your single tinctures? A. We may be able to offer single tinctures to you, and often we will be able to sell them at discounted prices and in bulk sizes. Please consult our Special Orders page and then send us an email via our contact us  page.
